Insane!!!

We weren't submitted again! We are getting to the point that we want answers. Only two families have been submitted the last two weeks, and we want to know why! This is not a small thing, we've invested a lot of money, time and our lives are basically at a standstill until we know more! I need to figure out school and there's the big thing of moving! We really wanted to be in California by Christmas, but if Ray doesn't transfer with his company, he can't get another job until we get home with Makayla. He can't say, "I can start now but then I will need to leave for around 5 weeks". No employer will go for that. I'm hyperventilating thinking of another winter in snow! I HATE IT!!
Why is our paperwork sitting for weeks and weeks??

  2. Dang! Lacey can you ask if everything has been translated ok? I know translation is a huge job, and we had sent the bulk of our dossier ahead to speed that part up.

I know it is hard to accept waiting, and nothing makes it easier but I do believe that God has his timing for good reasons... ones we may never find out.

Write me behind the scenes if you really need to scream and vent.

  4. So disappointing and not fair. I can tell you, from experience, that once you have you sweet baby girl in your arms you will not remember this and it you do, it wont matter!! Keep your head up and keep fighting. It will happen soon!!!!

I feel for you and am so sorry! I hate to say this, but its SO typical of Ukraine. THe holdups are ridiculous and unexplained sometimes. Know the Lord will show you the next steps to take. What a hard thing to wait for as you anticipate bringing this sweet girl home!

  10. I'm so sorry. I felt like we were always at someone else's mercy - not a feeling I like.
I so hope for next week!!

  11. Lacey, I am so sorry. There is nothing I can say to make you feel better. I wish I could swoop in and give you a giant hug. Is there anyone you can call and talk to, to figure out what is the hold-up?
